Veytharion. Even the name makes abounding players close in BO7. This huge adversary has boxy phases and hits hard. If you like to balmy up or analysis things in a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby, that approach has bright benefits. Use it to apprentice how Veytharion moves and to try altered loadouts afore you booty him on with a abounding squad.
The core of the fight is knowing when Veytharion is immune and what to do at that time. The boss becomes invulnerable for long stretches. Your team’s job during those stretches is to hit him with your vehicle. Ramming him is not random. The team must drive the vehicle into him on purpose to break his shield. Each successful ram weakens that protective layer and brings you closer to exposing his weak spot.
When the weak spot appears, focus and heavy damage are essential. The weak spot stays open for a short time. Bring weapons that deal high single-hit damage, like the Mark 2 and other heavy guns. Tell everyone to aim at the same spot and fire together. Single shots from light guns will not help much here. Grouped, high damage will drop his health faster before he becomes immune again.
Your vehicle plays two roles in this fight. It is both a battering ram and a safe place to move quickly. Use it to get in, ram, and then pull back fast to avoid his biggest attacks. One player should man the DG-2 turret on the vehicle. That player gives steady damage and can clear small enemies that swarm you. Assigning roles makes the team more efficient and reduces confusion in the heat of battle.
Watch Veytharion’s big attacks and use cover when you can. The boss fires powerful laser strikes that can down players fast. Move behind rocks, pillars, or wrecked structures when he winds up. Staying behind cover gives you time to heal or reload and helps the team survive until the next ram window. Also, keep an eye on your radar and on each other. Call out when you see the boss preparing a large attack.
Team choice and simple planning matter more than fancy builds. Have one player focused on driving and ramming, one on turret damage, and one on bringing heavy weapons to hit the weak spot. Keep ammo and healing items ready and share them when someone needs them. If you like quick practice runs in a Bot Lobbies BO7, use those to rehearse the ram timing and turret placement before trying the real boss. Repeating the sequence a few times will make your timing much better.
Expect to fail a few times early, but learn from each try. After each attempt, talk about what went wrong and small changes to make next time. Swap who drives or who mans the turret if one setup did not work. With steady practice, your team will turn chaotic runs into smooth fights and finally beat Veytharion. |
